The Foundation of the Finnish Institute in the Middle East supports and maintains the Finnish Institute in the Middle East located in Beirut, Lebanon and gives grants to research and fieldwork related to the Middle East.
The highest decision-making body of the Foundation is the board of trustees. The day-to-day operations are run by the executive officer according to the guidelines given by the chairman of the board and the working committee. The working committee consists of the chairman, the vice chairman and the executive officer.
In addition, the Foundation is the Head of Network in Anna Lindh Foundation – National Network of Finland 1.7.2014-30.4.2018 and 1.1.2019-31.5.2022.
